The Boston figure had 38 points and 10 rebounds, but Brooklyn distributed the annotations and thus managed to take the victory.

Brooklyn Nets assumed command of the Eastern Conference of the NBA by getting a long-suffering victory against Boston Celtics by 109-104, in which Jayson Tatum was the top scorer but did not reach the good work of those led by Steve Nash.

The great figure of the Celtics registered a double-double of 38 points and 10 rebounds, in addition to four assists, in almost 40 minutes on the court. But the win is further appreciated by the Nets by not having stars Kevin Durant and James Harden, while Kyle Irving had just a 15-point record, albeit with 11 assists and four steals.

Joe Harris led Brooklyn’s attack with 20 points, on a 4-7 triples, while Jeff Green had 19 points. Bruce Brown had 15 points and 8 rebounds off the bench, while Blake Griffin had 13 points, 5 rebounds and 3 assists.

Now the Nets have a 40-win, 20-loss record to take the lead in the East, just shy of the Philadelphia 76ers (39-20), and the Celtics (36-28) are sixth on the edge of direct entry to the postseason.
