Diffusion Plus Group invests and diversifies

While many are playing the wait-and-see card in the face of the crisis, Groupe Diffusion Plus (750 people for a turnover of 125 million euros), specializing in the printing and sending of desktop publishing and marketing communications, continues to carry out its projects.
After bringing in three HP T240 HD presses at the start of 2020, its Data One subsidiary (Saint-Aubin-sur-Gaillon, 27), specializing in management desktop publishing and full four-color printing since 2000, is once again a figure European pioneer, adopting new digital printing technology. This is the HP T250 digital press, which will be the first to be used in Europe, in a native version (not upgraded).
Being installed in the room adjacent to the refurbished workshop housing the three HP T240s, the new equipment should offer greater print quality linked to its new inks and greater versatility in the media. “Our investment responds in particular to the demand of a customer who wants to increase the print quality of his products while using standard papers”, explains Loïc Lefebvre, the group’s development director, who indicates that the machine will be essentially dedicated. to direct marketing markets.
“Our three HP T240 machines being already well loaded, we wanted to increase our capacities and free up capacity to carry out our new strategy, aiming in particular to tackle the production of newspapers in short series, from 100 copies, a new market in which we will soon launch a dedicated online sales platform. The official launch is scheduled for February 14, on Valentine’s Day, because we love our customers! », Specifies the leader.
To position itself in this new market, the group, with its partner GIC, equipped itself with the utmost discretion, a month ago, with a latest generation Hunkeler POP P7 finishing and folding module, dedicated to the production of newspapers in short series. It will be used “off-line”, that is to say autonomously, to be able to be supplied by any digital press of the group. The future internet online ordering platform, whose name, which still remains confidential, has just been submitted by the teams in charge of the project, will enable town halls, schools, associations, sports clubs, etc. to choose a model and to put content. The group can rely on the skills of GDP.Digital and Gocad Services, two companies specializing in digital, also behind the launch of the online commerce platform Protégez-vous-normand (https://protegez-vous-normand.fr)
