Different Fate Mini Bank, 2 Cuan, 2 Ambles! WSKT-Bank Jago Drop

Jakarta, CNBC Indonesia A total of two shares of issuer mini banks (with core capital below Rp 6 trillion), such as PT Bank Bumi Arta Tbk (BNBA), entrenched as top gainers at the close of trading today, Friday (12/11/2021).

Meanwhile, two other mini-bank stocks, PT Bank Jago Tbk (ARTO) and PT Bank Oke Indonesia Tbk (DNAR) fell in the ‘loser’ line of stocks.

The Composite Stock Price Index (JCI) is away from the highest record since 2018 which was carved on Thursday at 6,691.34. Investors seemed to be taking profit after the national benchmark stock index rose for the fourth straight day this week.

JCI fell 0.60% to 6651.054 at the close of the second trading session on Thursday (12/11).

According to IDX data, 212 stocks rose, 304 stocks weakened and 155 stocks remained stagnant, with a transaction value reaching Rp 11.54 trillion and trading volume reaching 45.32 billion shares.

Foreign investors from the stock market entered Indonesia with a record foreign net purchase of Rp 40.99 billion in the regular market. Meanwhile, foreigners recorded a net sale in the negotiating market and cash market of Rp 384.17 billion.

BNBA shares shot up to reach the upper auto rejection (ARA) limit of 24.78% to Rp 2,870/share. In a week this stock rose 37.98% and in a month ‘fly’ 109.49%.

Meanwhile, another mini bank, BANK, rose 11.02% to Rp 2,720/share, continuing its 1.66% increase on Thursday.

In a week, BANK shares climbed 11.93% and in a month soared 16.74%.

At the opposite pole, WSKT shares fell 6.15% to Rp 840/share, continuing the 3.24% correction on Thursday. With this, WSKT’s shares have fallen 9.19% in a week and have fallen 19.23% in a month.

Currently, Waskita Karya is in the process of implementing additional capital with a pre-emptive rights (HMETD) scheme or rights issue.

Based on the company’s prospectus on October 12, 2021, Waskita will issue 24.56 billion new shares with a nominal value of Rp 100/share. However, according to the prospectus, the price for the rights issue has not yet been determined.

In Waskita’s latest prospectus, the provisional schedule for the effective date of the rights issue registration statement by the Financial Services Authority (OJK) is listed on November 23, 2021.

Meanwhile, the rights issue trading period will last for 7-20 December 2021, with the last recording date for obtaining Preemptive Rights falling on 3 December 2021.

Along with WSKT, two mini-bank stocks, ARTO and DNAR, both sank in the red zone, falling 4.76% and 4.17% respectively.
