Die Toten Hosen give a surprise concert on the Rhine

Concert instead of reading: Campino started the evening with a reading of his autobiographical book “Hope Street” – but then the event surprisingly turned into a Toten Hosen concert.

On Monday evening, Campino had read from his autobiographical book “Hope Street” for almost two hours in the open air at the Alltours Kino am Rhein in partly heavy rain and occasionally played a song with Kuddel on the guitar.

When they both sang “On days like this”, Campino pointed to the audience and said that it was rubbish to do it alone when all the band members were there. So Breiti, Andi and Vom came on stage. Instruments were stored behind a curtain. They played several songs, including “Away Game”, “Bonnie & Clyde”, “Here Comes Alex” and “Laune der Natur”. “We don’t even know when we last played together,” Campino said in front of the 900 visitors.
