The sources of the Association of Lebanese Banks confirmed to “An-Nahar” that the decision to suspend the strike had not been taken, and if there was an intention to do so, it would announce it through a statement issued by it only.
And as she pointed out that the General Assembly authorized the Board of Directors to take the appropriate decision regarding the strike, she made it clear that no meeting of the Board of Directors is scheduled for today.
The banks had closed their doors this morning, Tuesday, in compliance with the decision to strike.
