Hermes also guarantees problem-free delivery. In a message, it says: “We are currently not experiencing any restrictions or delays in delivery in Germany.”
There are only delays due to border controls on intra-European transport routes.
Hermes customers can receive deliveries without any physical contact. Thanks to digital solutions, you can choose whether you want to receive your shipment in person or have it delivered to a desired storage location.
“With the delivery of the parcel to the front door, in the gazebo, garage or other safe storage location, delivery takes place without a personal contact point. This also means there is no need to acknowledge receipt of the shipment on the scanner,” emphasizes Hermes.
And further: “The current situation is new to all of us.”
Hermes is currently working flat out to develop a contactless package acceptance service. It should “come to the market shortly”.
