Devon Planckaert overcomes injuries, surgery, and Corona to pursue dream of winning Tour of Flanders

BVInjuries, surgery and a corona infection. Ever since Devon Planckaert (16) announced that he wanted to become a racing driver, just like Grandpa Eddy (64) and Dad Francesco (41), he had been through some physical suffering. He and mama Magali (37) became despondent because of it. But the ‘cycling heaven’ seems to be clearing up: Devon is racing again and sounds ambitious. In a first double conversation with ‘Dag Alles’, the duo now talks candidly about the past few years. “One day I want to win the Tour of Flanders,” he says.
