Devin Duvernay (born September 12, 1997 in Garland, Texas) is an American football player in the position of wide receiver who also doubles as a returning specialist. He played college football for the Texas Longhorns. Duvernay has been under contract with the Baltimore Ravens of the National Football League (NFL) since 2020.
Duvernay was born in Garland, Texas and attended high school in Saxony. He successfully played for his high school football team and was also active as a track and field athlete. Starting in 2016, Duvernay went to the University of Texas at Austin to play college football for the Texas Longhorns. As a freshman, he played on special teams, particularly as a kick returner, before moving on to offense later in the season. In 12 games in which he has been twice a starter, he has received 20 passes for 412 yards and three touchdowns. After failing to move beyond a reserve role during his second season at college in 2017, Duvernay was a regular with the Longhorns the following year. He received 41 passes for 546 yards and four touchdowns in 2018. Duvernay’s fourth and final collegiate season was by far his most successful of him. With 106 passes taken and 1,386 yards gained space, he set the season record in the Big 12 Conference, scored nine touchdowns. Duvernay, convinced above all of his safety, almost never missed a ride and was one of the most reliable receivers in college. He was selected for the Big 12 Conference All-Star Team. Overall, Duvernay played 52 games in his collegiate career, including 30 as a starter.[1][2][3]
Duvernay was drafted 92nd overall by the Baltimore Ravens in the 2020 NFL Draft.[4] As a rookie, he was an offensive backup with 20 passes for 201 yards. He served as a special teams return specialist and scored his first touchdown in the NFL on Game Day 3 against the Kansas City Chiefs with a 93-yard kickoff return.[5]
During the 2021 season, Duvernay averaged 13.8 yards per punt returned, the best in the league, and was selected for the All-Pro team and the Pro Bowl as a return specialist.[6][7] He was also used in attack as a wide receiver, mainly in the short pass game, receiving 33 passes for 272 yards and two touchdowns.[8]
As a result of Marquise Brown’s swap with the Arizona Cardinals, Duvernay switched to the offensive lineup for the 2022 season.[9]

Duvernay’s cousin Kyler Murray is an NFL Arizona Cardinals quarterback. Additionally, his twin brother Donovan Duvernay also played for Texas in college, as a defender.[11]
