Indie studio Mografi announced today that the mystery adventure Jenny LeClue, all about detective work, freedom of choice and friendship, will be released for Nintendo Switch on August 26th.
Jenny LeClue was originally released for PC and Apple Arcade last year. The Switch version contains all the updates the game has received since launch, including English voice actors, touch controls, texts in 14 languages and more.
The title tells an exciting story about mysteries, adventure and growing up. Set in the sleepy town of Arthurton, the game is filled with complex characters that are kept in a unique look.
A teeny little heroine on her grand quest for justice
Jenny is a brilliant young detective with eagle eyes and strong intuition. At the same time, she is a tireless champion of the truth. She can examine environments during dialogue scenes, analyze objects and find clues that are only visible to her and can decide between guilt and innocence.
A beautiful, handmade world full of secrets
Discover a beautiful hand-drawn world with a vintage look from the 20s and full of secrets in every corner. There are tons of things to interact with, and players who click and search through everything are rewarded with plenty of secrets, jokes, and background information.
A story within a story where decisions play a big role
Jenny LeClue weaves a metanarrative story about family, loss and identity into the game plot. The “author” of Jenny’s adventure by the name of Arthur K. Finklestein is the narrator of the story and drives it forward, his presence also allowing him to make decisions and change Jenny’s story. The decisions may even influence Finklestein’s own story.
A gripping soundtrack from scntfc
The gripping soundtrack of the game comes from scntfc (C. Andrew Rohrmann). The award-winning composer, best known for Oxenfree and Old Man’s Journey, brings the world of Arthurton to life with an extraordinary soundtrack that captures the mystery, magic and exhilaration of Jenny’s adventures every minute.
Jenny LeClue will be playable in the following 14 languages: German, English, Spanish, Italian, French, Dutch, Turkish, Brazilian Portuguese, Simplified Chinese, Traditional Chinese, Korean, Japanese, Russian and Arabic
