Destroyer of Tebet Eco Park Facilities Prohibited from Entering for 3 Months!

Jakarta

The DKI Jakarta Provincial Government requires visitors to register via the JAKI application before visiting Tebet Eco Park. Not only that, the manager will give a red card to visitors who damage park facilities.

Head of the DKI Jakarta City Parks and Forest Service, Suzi Marsitawati, said that later all visitor activities would be recorded through CCTV cameras. In addition to a red card, visitors will be sent a violation letter via email.

“If we damage us, we will give a red card and then we will give the warning letter to the person concerned via email e-mail,” said Suzi at the DKI Jakarta City Hall, Monday (4/7/2022).

Suzi said that the facilities that were often damaged were toilets and garden grass. Later, perpetrators of vandalism will be prohibited from entering the park for 3 months.

“When they registered for JAKI, there was an email that violated that for 3 months they were not allowed to enter Tebet Park,” he explained.

“How can the community be disciplined even though they don’t feel because the park is free, but it must be damaged, right, so even though it’s free, it must be maintained,” he continued.

The manager will limit daily visitors to 8,000 visitors during weekdays and 16,000 during weekends. Visitors can choose the day of visit when registering online online.

“So for example, we want to vote on the 1st. (If the quota is full) the quota will be closed, we will stop if for example 8,000 people,” he said.
