The coronavirus will not prevent the exit of the Samsung Galaxy Note 20, the brand’s new flagship. Expected for the end of the summer, the smartphone should be available in two models, at least, the Samsung Galaxy Note 20 and the Samsung Galaxy Note 20 Plus, or rather Ultra.

What is the design of the Galaxy Note 20?
Design is the element on which we have the most certainty, since Samsung Russia directly published these first images of what appears to be, from all the other leaks, the Samsung Galaxy Note 20 Ultra.

We can see the Galaxy Note 20 with a new copper color and especially its photo module with three sensors which seems to stand out quite significantly from the chassis. The most attentive will also notice that the volume and standby buttons have changed sides, they are now on the right of the screen and not on the left. These images above all confirm the unveiled design at first by OnLeaks and Pigtou, still concerning this model “ultra ».

As we can see, the smartphone would offer a front panel very similar to what we knew on the Galaxy Note 10, with a camera in the top center and a screen that takes most of the front panel. It is in fact the photo module that really distinguishes the two generations of smartphones and we understand why the first official photos of the product therefore focus on the back, rather than the front. These images were later confirmed by very real first photos the smartphone and its S-Pen.
The screen of the phone would have a diagonal of 6.9 inches or a device of 165 x 77.2 x 7.6 mm.

The famous Evleaks also got hold of images of the classic Galaxy Note 20, with 360-degree rendering of the smartphone. The differences with the Galaxy Note 20 Ultra seem minimal: the photo module seems a little less imposing and we can note the absence of the periscopic sensor (recognizable on the Ultra by its rectangular shape).
Features: Exynos 992 and 120 Hz screen
Samsung should once again offer different configurations for its smartphones depending on the country. In France, the new Exynos 992 would be used, to make you forget the Galaxy S20 Exynos 990 debacle, but in other countries we should find Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 865+. All configurations should offer compatibility with 5G networks.
Screen side, the refresh rate at 120 Hz would return, after a successful start on the Galaxy S20 at the start of the year, but with a new, less energy-consuming iteration, a good sign for the autonomy of the smartphone. Note that the 120 Hz would be reserved for the Galaxy Note 20 Ultra, while the classic Galaxy Note 20 would use a Full HD 60 Hz screen. This suggests that, like the classic Galaxy S20, the Note 20 would in reality have a “Note 20 LiteAnd the Note 20 Ultra should be entitled to the best of what Samsung can offer.
If we do not yet know the photo features of the smartphone, we think that the Galaxy Note 20 range should ignore the Zoom 100X (but keep the 108 MP sensor) which made a lot of noise with le Galaxy S20 Ultra.
Finally regarding autonomy, the Galaxy Note 20’s battery would be 4300 mAh, and 4500 mAh for the Note 20 Ultra. A capacity therefore lower than the 5000 mAh of the Galaxy S20 Ultra.
New Arrivals
In terms of the new functions that will animate this Galaxy Note 20, we can count on a revision of the One UI interface which would go to version 2.5. The mode DeX could be upgraded to work completely wireless, a new step after the disappearance of the dock. As a reminder, the DeX mode allows you to transform your smartphone into a real computer, with an interface developed by Samsung and integrating compatibility with GNU / Linux software.
Presentation on August 5, 2020
Samsung has formalized the date of the presentation conference at the beginning of July. The next Galaxy Unpacked will take place on August 5, 2020.

The subject of the conference leaves no room for doubt when looking at the invitation. It shows a drop of ink, in reference to the S-Pen stylus of the smartphone, with the coppery color seen in the leak of Samsung Russia.
A high-end price
We do not yet know the exact launch price of the Samsung Galaxy Note 20 in France. We can however take as reference the prices for last year:
- Galaxy Note 10 : 959 euros
- Galaxy Note 10 Plus: 1109 euros
We must also take into account the price increase on the Galaxy S range at the start of the year:
- Galaxy S20 5G: 1009 euros
- Galaxy S20 + 5G: 1109 euros
- Galaxy S20 Ultra : 1359 euros
We can reasonably expect that the Galaxy Note 20 Ultra will exceed the 1000 euros mark.
