According to him, about 600 thousand Ukrainians officially pay taxes to the Social Insurance Fund, the rest work under labor contracts and do not pay taxes.
Deschitsa noted that in 2014 there were 680 companies in Poland, where the owners were Ukrainians, in 2021 Ukrainians are owners or co-owners of already 16 thousand enterprises.
At the same time, according to the diplomat, about 50 thousand Ukrainian students study in higher educational institutions in Poland.

According to Deshchitsa, Ukrainians in Poland are attracted by higher wages, more opportunities to realize themselves, a more stable economic situation and proximity to Ukraine itself.
