Deputy Minister of Defense hints at upcoming counteroffensive in Ukraine

The audience regarded the publication of the video as a call to the Ukrainians to be patient and wait for the moment when the long-awaited counteroffensive of the Armed Forces of Ukraine begins.

Deputy Minister of Defense of Ukraine Anna Malyar hinted at the approach of the counteroffensive of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, publishing in her Telegram channel video. In the footage shown, seven Ukrainian soldiers from different units, including infantry, artillerymen and snipers, put their index fingers to their mouths, symbolizing a call for silence.

“Plans love silence. There will be no announcement of the beginning”– she noted in the commentary to the video, at the end of which a similar text was written.

The audience regarded the publication of the video as a call to the Ukrainians to be patient and wait for the moment when the long-awaited counteroffensive of the Armed Forces of Ukraine begins. At the same time, there will be no official announcements about the start of the offensive, since the planning and implementation of military operations takes place in silence and in complete secrecy in order to achieve the effect of maximum surprise for the enemy.

Earlier, Zelensky said that Ukraine did not receive all the weapons it had hoped for, but the Armed Forces of Ukraine would not wait months to launch a counteroffensive.
