Denmark’s third WC final in a row, France disrupts the repeat of the final and upsets the home team – Handball –

• Danish handball players defeated Spanish handball players 26:23 in the first semi-final match, reaching the final.

• The Spaniards never took the lead in the match.

• The Danes also upset the Spanish handball players in the 2021 semifinals, winning 35:33 that time.

• Denmark reached their third consecutive World Cup final. The Danes managed to triumph in the previous two.

• Simon Pitlik was Denmark’s top scorer with six goals, while Magnus Jensen added five. Aleksa Duyshebayev scored five goals for the Spanish national team.
