Demonstrators partially block Cimiez hospital in Nice over pension reform

The demonstrators block several entrances to the building of the grand hotel which houses the general management services, financial affairs department.

About fifty demonstrators from the CGT, FSU and CFDT unions have been blocking an administrative building of the Cimiez hospital belonging to the Nice University Hospital since Monday morning. They arrived around 7 a.m. to protest against the pension reform.

Several blocked entrances

The demonstrators block several entrances to the building of the grand hotel which houses the general management services, the financial affairs management, the human resources management, the economic services and purchasing management. The building is therefore not intended to accommodate patients.

Beyond pensions, the demonstrators are also demanding an improvement in working conditions in the health sector. Another thirty people are expected on site in the morning.
