On Friday, the Argentine capital witnessed a protest demonstration to demand urgent intervention to stop the forest fires in Australia that killed 27 people, in addition to the deaths of nearly one billion animals. Nearly two hundred people gathered in front of the Australian embassy in the capital, Buenos Aires, led by left-wing groups, calling on the government of that country to intervene urgently to stop these fires. The demonstrators were keen to paint their faces in many colors to draw attention to the animals that died in the fires, and they carried banners written on some of them, “We have an urgent environmental and climate stand.” (Muhammed Emin Canik – Anatolia Agency)
