On February 1, the government council passed an emergency program on compassionate use. 47.8 million francs are to go to companies that suffer losses due to the pandemic-related restrictions. The greater part comes from the federal government. However, the canton contributes 18 million francs. This sum is well above the government council’s financial competence.
