Among the doses applied, 2,362 correspond to people who completed their immunization schedule or placement of the two doses required in the new provision, and 3,677 were first doses.
Meanwhile, 2,362 booster doses or third doses were applied during the weekend, for a general total of 8,649 doses applied, showing the program a reactivation in the demand for vaccination, after the provision that includes those older than 12 years disclosed last Friday by the Ministry of Public Health.
The difference between those who apply the first and second dose exceeds one million people. The country plans to immunize 7.5 million people over 12 years of age against the Covid-19 virus, of which until this Monday it had been applied to 4,973,191 people.

The Covid hospital network yesterday notified 575 hospitalized patients for a 22% occupancy of beds and 201 in Intensive Care Units (ICU), for an occupancy of 33%.
Some 126 patients were under assisted ventilation, equivalent to 24 percent of the equipment enabled for patients with Covid-19. Hypertension and diabetes continue to be among the most frequent comorbidities among patients who die from the disease, accounting for 24.93% and 15.56%.
