Nuenen – The flags hang at half mast on Sunday at the police stations in the Netherlands as a sign of the deep mourning in which the police world is immersed. A 28-year-old police officer died in what now appears to be a fatal accident on the A270 motorway near Nuenen in Brabant on Saturday evening. A 35-year-old female cop was seriously injured and a motorist involved in the accident was also taken to hospital injured.
