It’s not always the career of a celebrity or a public figure that goes smoothly. Sometimes, many problems and issues spread among the public to make his career down. As experienced by the Taiwanese singer, it was rumored that he had a large amount of debt due to gambling, so he fled the country.

Li Mao Shan is one of the famous Taiwanese singers in the 90s. The singer has been in the spotlight since she was 19 years old. At that time, he managed to win a singing competition. Then, five years later, in 1984, Mao Shan released his debut album.

Its popularity managed to increase rapidly and became very famous in the South Asian Region, to be precise in Singapore and Malaysia. However, when he decided to start his household in Taiwan in 1986, his life changed.

He is married to a fellow Taiwanese singer named Lin Shurong. He and his girlfriend had done a duet together. One of the popular songs from the duet is titled Wu Yan De Jie Ju or Silent Ending. The song was often heard by the people of his day.

Achieving great success, finally Mao Shan not only sings, but also becomes a host. In 1991, he was named the Best Male Dialect Singer at the Golden Melody Awards.

However, he suddenly disappeared from the public spotlight when he reached the peak of his fame in 1999. Some time ago, he was reported to have run away because he was in debt which was quite large due to gambling.

Mao Shan had no choice but to flee Taiwan to avoid being chased by debt collectors. According to the rumors circulating, initially Mao Shan took regular debts. However, over time the amount of debt is getting bigger.

In addition, a restaurant he invested in failed, costing him even more money. He also fled with his exit from Taiwan.
