Deaths in Italy from coronavirus rise 175 in the last 24 hours


The number of deaths in Italy due to the new coronavirus reached this Saturday 1441, which represents an increase of 175 in the last 24 hours, according to the latest balance released by the country’s head of Civil Protection, Angelo Borrelli.

17750 people are infected, 2795 more compared to data released on Friday.

According to the data, there are 1966 people cured, that is, 527 more than in the previous bulletin.

The total number of infections since the outbreak was detected at the end of February is 21157 in Italy, counting sick, dead and cured.

The new coronavirus responsible for the Covid-19 pandemic, was detected in December in China, and has already caused more than 5500 deaths worldwide.
