Xinhua News Agency, Jakarta, November 25 (Reporter Wang Ona Yangda) According to the latest data released by the Indonesian National Agency for Disaster Resilience on November 25, the 5.6 magnitude earthquake that occurred in West Java province, in Indonesia on the 21st killed 310 people.

There are reportedly 24 people still missing and rescue operations are still ongoing.

According to data updated by the Indonesian National Agency for Disaster Resilience on the 24th, more than 60,000 people were forced to flee their homes and more than 50,000 homes were destroyed, including 363 schools and 3 medical and health institutions.

After traveling to the Zhanyu epicenter area on the 22nd, Indonesian President Widodo visited the area again on the 24th to lead disaster relief efforts. He said relief operations are still facing various obstacles, such as the rains and the continuing aftershocks.

According to the website of the Indonesian Agency of Meteorology, Climatology and Geophysics, the earthquake occurred at 13:21 Jakarta time on the 21st (14:21 Beijing time), with the epicenter located 10 kilometers southwest of the district of Zhanyu, West Java province, with a focal depth of 10 kilometers.
