Hideo Kojima tweeted again. On the short news service Twitter, he announced that he was working on a new concept. He had a look at his desk, which is equipped with possible clues.
Among other things, you can see the artwork of a spaceship or any other aircraft. This could indicate that the new concept has something to do with space.
Dropship and bridges
Interestingly enough, you can read “Bridges” on one of the vehicles labeled “DropShip”. You shouldn’t necessarily see this as a fixed indication that Kojima is working on a sequel to “Death Stranding”. After all, the “Bridges” brand could appear pretty much anywhere.
What comes after “Death Stranding”?
“Here is my way of designing a new title with Yoji. First we discuss the setting for each character, the background, the world, the color, the characteristics, the roles, the images, the ideas and the key word by going back & forward by email. WFH & 20 min. Direct discussion. Mostly texts on the iPhone, ”Kojima said in his tweet.
In another Twitter message, he added: “I worked on the concept and heard it ‘Oasis’ by Kitaro I recently bought. I (I used to have the record) love the illustration by Shusei Nagaoka. ”This means the cover of the album mentioned.
On the subject
But what does the ongoing work on the concept ultimately mean? Developers often spend a lot of time going through different concepts and ideas, and some never see the light of day. This means that the current concept could also be rejected. You can check out the corresponding tweets below:
