Death Stranding: a documentary on Photo mode in the company of a real photographer

Death Stranding was released last November for PlayStation 4, then PC. The title has hosted several updates, including The mode Photo, whose options have often been touted in the version for computers. The distributor 505 Games and Kojima Productions have therefore had an interesting idea.

The studios have indeed invited photographer Pete Rowbottom, winner of the 2018 Landscape Photographer of the Year award and presented as a video game enthusiast, to achieve a documentary focused on fashion Photo of Death Stranding, but also in real life. The photographer has indeed gone in search of real landscapes similar to those in the game of Kojima Productions, an activity not so different from that of Sam Porter Bridges in the adventure (which consists of walking for a long, long time). The still image expert also takes the opportunity to give some advice to achieve the perfect shot., with a camera or in Death Stranding.

The seven-minute documentary can be admired in the video above (remember to activate the French subtitles), as well as photographs taken by Pete Rowbotton, in the game or in the wild. As a reminder, Death Stranding is available on PC and PlayStation 4, you can find it at € 26.48 on Amazon.fr.
