The comedy series Dead To Me, starring Christina Applegate and Linda Cardellini, gets a third and final season on Netflix. At the same time, Netflix has made a deal with Dead To Me-maker Liz Feldman, in which Feldman will be involved in the development of Netflix series and other projects.
“From start to finish Dead to Me exactly the show I wanted to make and it was an incredible gift, “Feldman said in a press release on Monday.” Telling a story that stems from grief and loss has made me bigger as an artist and healed as a person. “
“I am forever indebted to my partners in crime, my lifelong friends, Christina and Linda, and our brilliantly talented writers, cast and crew,” Feldman continues. “I am very grateful to Netflix for supporting Dead To Me, from day one, and I am delighted to continue our cooperation. “
Dead To Me tells the story of Jen and Judy after Jen’s husband was killed in a car accident and through a series of melodramatic twists in their close friendship. The series received positive reception after its debut in 2019, earning Applegate an Emmy nomination for Best Actress. Feldman won a Writers Guild Award for best episode of a comedy series.
