JABARNEWS | PURWAKARTA – Residents of Oesman Singawinata housing complex, Kaler State Village, Purwakarta are smoking or fogging. This was done after there were six residents in the neighborhood who were infected with Dengue Hemorrhagic Fever (DHF).

Fogging is done to reduce the proliferation of Aedes aegypti mosquitoes and reduce the spread of contracted cases becoming more widespread.

“Prevention because in our area there has been an outbreak of dengue fever, especially in RW 11 there have been 6 people. In RT 82 two people, RW 83 two people and in RT 85 two people, thank God in other RTs it doesn’t get hit but we do prevent fogging fogging one RW, “said Head of RT 84, Ugan Suganda on the sidelines of fogging activities on Saturday (07/25/2020).

Fumigation is seen starting from the entrance to the housing to all houses, not least in waterways or gutters which are feared there are mosquito larvae lodged in puddles.

“We do it all over the place in one RW, this fogging was carried out on our submission to the Koncara Community Health Center even with community self-help,” said Ugan.
