Dusseldorf After the rapid price gains on Monday, the Dax closed on Tuesday with a slight increase of 0.2 percent at 11,075.29 points. The EuroStoxx50 crumbled 0.2 percent to 2906.54 points. Both indices rose more than five percent on Monday.
The papers of the insurer Allianz developed particularly well with an increase of 1.7 percent. The winners also included the chip company Infineon and the sporting goods manufacturer Adidas, while the rally ended with the cyclical industrial stocks, which had risen sharply the previous day.
