The Wizards already have very little chance of qualifying for the playoffs. Their possibilities have just diminished a little more with the announcement of the non-participation of the strong winger Davis Bertans the resumption of NBA Orlando. According to Adrian Wojnarowski and Tim Bontemps ESPN, the Latvian shooter has decided to play the security card in view of the next free-agency :
Reporting with @TimBontemps: Washington Wizards F Davis Bertans has decided to sit out the Orlando restart, sources tell ESPN. Bertans is entering free agency off of his most productive NBA season – with two ACL injuries in his past.

A decision that is not the result of injury or any physical concern. Free-agent this year, the player does not want to take any risks. Since the start of his young career, Davis Bertans has already suffered some serious injuries (rupture of the ligament). At 27, the mad shooter from the capital comes out of his best career season with 15.4 points 42% shooting 3pts in 8.7 attempts, also adding 4.5 rebounds and 1.7 assists. It should be a top priority for Washington leaders this fall.
