The start of the PDC Home Tour (live daily on DAZN) caused a surprise. World champion Peter Wright lost one of his three matches in his living room and missed the knockout stage. Jamie Lewis qualified for this.
In the first of 32 groups of four, all participants had to compete against each other (best-of-9 legs). Wright won against Englishman Peter Jacques and Dutchman Niels Zonneveld, but lost 1-5 to former World Cup semi-finalist Jamie Lewis. He also lost a match, but ended up with the better difference in the legs (13:10 versus 11:10).
Lewis is the first player in the knockout round of the final tournament. That should start on May 19th.
On Saturday the second group of four will start in the living room at home. From 8.30 p.m. the matches can be followed live on DAZN. This time, Gerwyn Price is among them.
