Commemorating the definitive return of Cheikh Ahmadou Bamba to Touba in 1927 following his death, the Darou Khoudoss magal will be celebrated on September 8 in the midst of a health crisis.
Serigne Ahmadou Moctar Mbacké, Caliph of Serigne Moustapha Mbacké raised the ambiguity yesterday. According to him, the cancellation had been announced through the press but this information does not come from the official source.
The religious leader clarified that they never had this idea in mind. The Caliph of Darou Khoudoss subsequently declared that he had the ndigueul with Serigne Mountakha Mbacké to celebrate said magal.
