Darmstadt – Illicit labor raid in the Rhine-Main area! Around 800 emergency services took action on Wednesday against organized undeclared work on the building site and at building cleaning companies.
As the Darmstadt public prosecutor announced on Wednesday, more than 70 search warrants and arrest warrants were carried out and two main perpetrators were arrested.
The investigators succeeded in breaking up an illegal network of “service companies” that were selling invoices without having previously performed a service. A total of 37 suspects were found who evaded taxes and did not pay social benefits.
Electronic data carriers, accounting documents and mobile phones as well as weapons and cash were seized, according to the public prosecutor. In total, there was a tax loss of 5 million euros.
