Danny de Munk has confessed that he cheated on him fifteen years ago. For the cameras of RTL Boulevard the 52-year-old actor calls it “an old corpse out of the closet”.
A woman who worked closely with the actor fifteen years ago did earlier this month report of rape against him. De Munk previously denied allegations of inappropriate behaviour.
The actor says he is “really devastated” by the situation. “My character has been destroyed. I have to think about every word. What the fuck, man”, says De Munk who tells his story in tears at RTL Boulevard.
“I think it’s ten times worse for my family than for myself. Because of my adultery 15 years ago, I pulled them into it. I apologized a thousand times.”
De Munk told his wife Jenny, but found it difficult to tell his son and daughter. “You wouldn’t wish your worst enemy that your son stands before you with tears in his eyes.”
The woman who filed a report worked closely with De Munk on the musical about fifteen years ago Ciske de Rat. In April, vlogger Yvonne Coldeweijer reported from juice channel Life of Yvonne about countless reports of sexually transgressive behavior by De Munk.
De Munk’s lawyer, Royce de Vries, denied that De Munk was ever guilty of sexually transgressive behavior or criminal offences. According to De Vries, De Munk was “dismayed at these unjustified accusations” and would consider legal next steps.
