De Munk says he is “devastated” by the allegations. “My character has been destroyed. I have to think about every word. But I think it’s ten times worse for my family. His wife would have been aware of the adultery: ,,I told Jenny, Jenny knows everything about me. But that you have to tell your son and daughter.”, said an emotional De Munk.

De Munk’s lawyer, Royce de Vries, has denied that the singer ‘has ever been guilty of sexually transgressive behaviour, let alone criminal offences’. According to De Vries, his client was “dismayed at these unjustified accusations” and he would consider legal next steps.
