The incident occurred during the first round match between Vittinghus and Lakhsya Sen (India) at the Istora Gelora Bung Karno, Senayan, Wednesday (8/6/2022) night.
Vittinghus, who swallowed the bitter pill to lose 10-21, 18-21 to Sen, then gave criticism through his social media accounts.

“Obviously this shouldn’t happen but I can understand because of the extraordinarily long time on duty for them.”
“I really appreciate and respect the efforts of all umpire, refereeand linesman in the world because I know they don’t do it for money or luxury treatment.”
“However, if any official falls asleep in the future, can we agree to replace him immediately, I beg you?”
