Asked whether the new political project with Kiril Petkov and Asen Vassilev would consolidate the right, Prof. Valchev said: “Of the two paired ministers who are said to be the leaders of this project, one is certainly not a right-wing person. I am talking about a minister. Kiril Petkov “.
According to Prof. Valchev, the introduction of a majority electoral system is something that needs to be considered.
“I have always been skeptical of the majority electoral system, because it always leads to the same result – a bipolar model. But there are normal people in the parties and maybe this is the way,” Prof. Valchev explained.
