English golfer secures second European Tour title in Munich
In a remarkable display of skill, Daniel Brown clinched victory at the BMW International Open on Sunday, marking his second title on the European tour. The Englishman finished two strokes ahead of the competition.

Starting the final day with a slim lead, the world No. 170, Daniel Brown, delivered a flawless, six-under-par 66. Without a single bogey, his consistent performance kept him ahead.
Jordan Smith, also of England, put up a strong fight, birdying four of the initial six holes. Brown extended his lead with two additional birdies.
The defining moment came on the par-5 18th hole, where Brown reached the green in two and sealed the win with a two-putt, concluding the week at an impressive 22-under par. Overwhelmed with emotion, Brown was visibly moved as he left the green.

A Career Milestone
Prior to this, Brown’s only other victory occurred at the ISPS Handa World Invitational the previous year. According to official stats, the average age of golfers winning their first PGA tour is 29.5, highlighting Brown’s relative experience PGA Tour 2023.
Before this win, Brown’s best result this year was a top-10 finish at the Qatar Masters in February.
