The death toll from the serious train accident in eastern India has risen to at least 230, the authorities report. Another 900 people were injured.
Emergency services are still searching for people and the death toll could rise further. The injured were taken to hospitals by buses and some 200 ambulances.
The priority is to find survivors and take them to hospitals, said the chief minister of Odisha. In the city of Soro, hundreds of young people stand outside a hospital to donate blood.
