The product, named “Hap-sung,” caters to the growing consumer preference for multi-ingredient products that simplify daily routines. It combines Astaxanthin, recognized for its benefits to eye health, with Omega-3, Magnesium, B Vitamins, Vitamin D, Vitamin C, and Lactobacillus. Daewoong Pharm stated that the formulation addresses consumer feedback regarding complex intake methods and ingredient overlap, offering seven essential nutrients, likely to be deficient in the Korean diet, in a convenient two-capsule daily dose.
each daily serving of “Hap-sung” includes 600mg of RTG Omega-3 (EPA, DHA) for circulatory health, 157.5mg of magnesium for muscle and nerve function, a blend of 8 high-potency vitamins for energy metabolism, 100mg of Vitamin C for antioxidant support, and 2 billion CFUs of lactic acid bacteria for gut health. Additionally, it contains 4mg of Astaxanthin to help alleviate eye fatigue. The product is formulated to provide 100% of the daily recommended intake for these nutrients.
During the product advancement phase, daewoong Pharmaceuticals gathered direct consumer feedback, incorporating insights such as missed intake timing, concerns about redundant ingredients, difficulty in product selection, and the inconvenience of taking multiple supplements.
Daewoong Pharmaceuticals has implemented two key technologies to enhance the product’s efficacy and delivery. The “X-GIS” method is used for the capsule, designed to protect the active ingredients and ensure stable absorption. Furthermore, a “Bear Shield” technique is applied to the Omega-3 oil, stabilizing its concentration and facilitating the absorption of six key ingredients. A one-month supply of “Hap-sung” is priced at approximately 1330 won (39,900 won).
