Czech Railways is canceled by a pendoline between Prague and Ostrava

Between Prague and Ostrava, they operate pendolines on a commercial basis. “Train restrictions on this line will apply until further notice,” said spokesman Robert Pagan. The current scope of transport will apply until 27 October.

Restrictions from October 28:

From Wednesday, October 28, SC Pendolino commercial trains will not run on the Prague – Ostrava – Bohumín section, with the exception of one pair of SC 241/240 Pendolino Košičan connections, which will run on the entire Prague – Ostrava – Košice route and back.

In addition to the previously canceled trains IC Opavan (connections IC 502, 513 and 514 on the route Prague – Opava and back) and IC Ostravan (connections IC 508, 511, 518 and 519 on the route Prague – Bohumín and back), a few trains Ostravan will not run Ex 549 (from 28 October) / Ex 548 (from 29 October) between Prague and Návsí.

Passengers between the metropolis and Ostrava will continue to be able to use eight Czech Railways trains in each direction, namely the Ostravan express between Prague, Ostrava and Žilina, the Silesia and Cracovia express between Prague, Ostrava and Warsaw, respectively. Krakow and a couple of IC 517/516 trains between Prague and Bohumín.

Pendolina, which runs in the IC category between Prague and Karlovy Vary (IC 504/505), resp. Františkovy Lázně (IC 512/515), will run in these sections even after 28 October without restrictions.
