In the eliminator, four competitors always compete on a sprint track in a knockout fashion. Šafářová was overtaken in the final by Italian winner Gaia Tormenaová and Slovakian Terézia Ciriaková, among men Václav Ježek was tenth after being eliminated in the quarterfinals.

Today, Šafářová also started in the relay, in which the Czech team took sixth place. Jan Zatloukal, Ondřej Novotný, Eliška Hanáková, Šafářová, Adéla Holubová and Jan Sáska took to the track one after the other, who arrived at the finish line with more than two minutes behind the victorious Dutch.

On the weekend of the ME, the Olympic cross country races will culminate. On Saturday, the juniors, including the champion in the short track Spěšná, will go, on Sunday, the under-23 representatives.
