KATTENDIJKE – The police are looking for witnesses to a serious assault that took place on Monday 18 July near Kattendijke. A cyclist would have been pushed or kicked off his bicycle there.
The violent incident happened Monday 18 July around 6:50 pm on the cycle path between the Goese Sas and Kattendijke. A cyclist dressed in light blue with white and black was, according to the police, pushed off his bicycle or kicked by a scooter driver. The cyclist suffered serious injuries.
According to the police, a woman on a bicycle would have been passed by both the cyclist and the scooter driver. She is also said to have stood on the roadside with the cyclist and said: “not normal anymore.” The officers are looking for the woman and are calling on her to contact the police for more information. People who know the woman , can call 0900-8844.
