Expected for November 19, Cyberpunk 2077 is still the subject of rumors about its possible integration into the Game Pass, and this near the launch. An insistent hall noise, which CD Projekt denies.
This rumor is mainly relayed by Jeff Grubb of Venture Beat, who announced that we should expect Microsoft to prepare an announcement, indicating that a third-party game will be announced within Game Pass soon after its release or even at launch, and that the ideal candidate was Cyberpunk 2077. Hier, Jeff Grubb reiterated taking the title as an example when responding to a Twitter user.
(…) Let’s just take Cyberpunk as an example. Microsoft is paying to get it on the Game Pass when it is released, but it will still be available on Stadia, PC and PlayStation (4) for $ 60. And Microsoft does not have to pay to replace the shortfall in PlayStation, but only that on Xbox. And maybe only for three months.
A tweet that caught the attention of Radek Grabowski, head of press relations at the Polish studio. The latter therefore wanted to make things clear:
You have to pick another example, Jeff. No Game Pass plans for Cyberpunk 2077.

You’re going to have to take another example, Jeff. There is no plan for Cyberpunk 2077 within the Game Pass.
Radek Grabowski therefore tempers the enthusiasm and the rumors, without indicating that the title will never arrive in the catalog of Microsoft’s service.
