Even last year, the company did not plan to resort to processing. Now, starting this Monday, CD Projekt RED employees will be doing their normal work, plus work one weekend. At the same time, this time will be paid in accordance with Polish laws.
The head of the studio, Adam Badovsky, in his message to the staff, notes that rework should not be a way out of such situations – but the studio simply has no other ways to cope with bugs and other remaining problems of the game. However, according to the anonymous employee, some workers have been working at night and on weekends for over a year.
Cyberpunk 2077 is out November 19 on PS4, Xbox One and PC (system requirements). At release, the game can be launched on PS5 and Xbox Series for backward compatibility, but the full version of the next generation will appear in 2021. –
