During a regular drug check, 430 kilos of cocaine was found at a company in Middelburg on Tuesday. Customs found 509 kilos of cocaine in the port of Vlissingen, the customs authorities reported, who received help from the police.
The companies where the drugs were found had nothing to do with it, says a press release from the customs. No arrests have been made.
The cocaine has a value of more than 70 million euros and has been destroyed. Broadcasting Zeeland writes that there have been many drug busts in the province lately. Just last week, a batch of 600 kilos of cocaine was found in the port of Vlissingen.
