Customs – Freiburg im Breisgau – Lots of stamp work in Baden “special post office St. Nikolaus” – Bavaria

Freiburg (dpa/lsw) – Extra stamp for Christmas mail: In the village of St. Nikolaus in southern Baden, letters for the festival received the specially created St. Nicholas postmark for this day. A postal service provider took care of the piles of letters on the table at the Freiburg-Opfingen Ratskeller on Tuesday. This year’s stamp from the “Sonderpostamt St. Nikolaus” shows a stylized village scene. St. Nikolaus is a district of Opfingen. The organizers of the traditional stamp campaign are a club and the Opfinger winegrowers.
