The first model designed by the Cupra brand has so far arrived on the Czech market with only one engine, but there should be up to seven in total.

Cupra Formentor, the first model designed specifically for the independent sports division of the Seat brand, has finally arrived on the Czech market. And while my colleagues are working on preparing impressions from the first rides, we can look at the recently published Czech price list.
So far, it contains only one engine, which is the top supercharged four-cylinder 2.0 TSI in combination with a seven-speed dual-clutch DSG transmission and 4Drive all-wheel drive for a price starting from CZK 1,334,900.
The engine offers a maximum output of 228 kW (310 hp) in the range of 5460 to 6600 rpm and a maximum torque of 400 Nm in the range of 2000 to 5450 rpm. The Cupra Formentor can accelerate from 0 to 100 km / h with this engine in 4.9 seconds and reaches a top speed of up to 250 km / h.

In the future, however, we should look forward to expanding the offer with a few weaker engines. From the petrol 1.5 TSI and 2.0 TDI with the same power of 110 kW, through the 2.0 TSI with a power of 150 kW or 180 kW to a plug-in hybrid with a power of 180 kW.
The basic equipment includes Full-LED headlights at the front and rear, 19 “alloy wheels Performance, roof spoiler and sports bumpers, LED lighting of the boarding area, premium dashboard trim, automatic three-zone air conditioning, sports shell seats Cupra Sharp (combining fabric and leather upholstery) .
In terms of technology, Front Assist safety equipment, rear parking cameras and sensors, adaptive cruise control, a 10.25-inch digital instrument panel, a 12 ”navigation system with rich connectivity, Cupra Connect services and the Cupra Drive Profile selector will delight you.

The experience of sporty driving was to be enhanced by the electronic front differential lock (XDS) in combination with the Cupra sports chassis, progressive Servotronic steering or adaptive DCC chassis control. The front brakes with internal cooling have a standard size of 340×30, but for those who would not have enough, they can pay an extra CZK 59,900 for Performance Brembo brakes with a diameter of 370 mm.
In the optional equipment we can also find a range of variously designed 19 “alloy wheels (from +7,900 CZK to 27,900 CZK), Beats audio system, contactless control of the 5th door (13,900 CZK), Nappa leather upholstery in shades Petrol blue or Soul black (both for CZK 29,900), panoramic sunroof (+34,900 CZK), semi-leather sports shell seats (+19,900 CZK), towing equipment (+20,900 CZK) and a few other details.
