Canceled in 2020, the festival Nîmes stands out will take place this year, from July 2 to 25, 2021.
“The milestone of the possibility of offering a new and living event, in this so particular and constrained context, has been successfully taken for the moment.“, assures the association Nîmes stands out whose objective is to make the illustration vibrate in the Cité des Antonin. Exhibitions in the form of a stroll in the city, meetings dedicated to image professionals and the community of illustrators, workshops for young and old, festive times and all with a desire for sustainability, responsible production and the maximum of bridges created with cultural actors and know-how, this is what should be and will be “Nîmes stands out “: a festival a little apart. So that the pleasure of marveling can be found both in the world of illustration and in the places that host it, the festival invites you to push the doors of atypical places that host the exhibition pavilions, the historic heritage of the city in dialogue with a protean artistic practice.-
The association is in full preparation for this event: “The places as the whole of the scenographic production have been carefully studied to welcome the public in the best conditions.“See you at the end of April to discover the program.
