Engine. Action. The Le Lierre social center is relaunching its documentary video masterclass, this time under the direction of the director and director of photography, Yacine Helali. It is within the framework of the image education system, PasseursImages, that the social center offers a full week (from October 19 to 23) of training in image techniques, sound and production of a short documentary film. The productions resulting from this internship will be screened on the occasion of the documentary film festival, Le Réel en vue, as the curtain rises before the screening of the four films in competition this year, at the La Scala cinema in Thionville from November 6 to 27.
The idea is to allow anyone interested in the realization to take the plunge with the advice of a professional. Yacine Helali, co-founder of England-based production company Veto Films, specializes in socially engaged documentaries. Known for his film, Algeria 2096, the memory of the other , which tackles in an original way the realities of Algerian society and its diasporas, this Frenchman born in Marseille is also a regular collaborator of the University of Newcastle.
