“The Cure” (originally Easy Cure) Robert Smith started in 1976 with his schoolmates in Crawley, England. The debut album “Three Imaginary Boys” was released as “The Cure” in 1979, and was immediately praised by critics, categorizing the group in the direction of the postbank and the new wave.
