Carlos García-Pérez, a member of the influential Cuban American National Foundation (CANF), was confirmed on Wednesday as head of Radio and TV Martístations funded by the US government for counter censorship in Cubareported EFE.
Garcia-Perez, a Cuban-American lawyer, worked to date in a law firm in Puerto Rico, explains El Nuevo Herald. He replaces Pedro Roig, who resigned in August from the Cuba Broadcasting Office, which manages TV and Radio Martí.
